COVID-19 Vaccine Registration
The COVID-19 vaccine is available in Oklahoma. In order to receive the vaccine, Oklahoma residents should sign up via the online portal at the Oklahoma State Department of Health. The registration process begins with a questionnaire to determine which phase you will be in based on your age, health conditions, and occupation, followed by a form for entering your information. You will need an email account in order to receive notifications about eligibility and appointments.
Once you are registered for the vaccine, you will receive an email informing you when you are eligible to receive the vaccine. You will receive an email with a link to a site where you can search for available appointments. Appointments are added each day, but they fill up quickly.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health strongly encourages you to use the online portal and ask a friend or relative to register you online. The online portal has guides and videos that show you how to register for vaccinations.
If you do not have access to the Internet, you may call 211 to determine when you are eligible to receive the vaccine. If you have determined you are eligible for the vaccine but you do not have access to the Internet or email, you may contact the Grady County Health Department at (405) 224-2022 and they can place you on a waiting list for the vaccine. It may take several weeks to get an appointment.
If you need assistance with registering for the vaccine, please contact the library.
